Welcome to our project to develop a sports accelerometer and extensible software framework that can be used for research and to support teaching in science, technology, engineering and mathematics focused subjects.
The small lightweight accelerometer, coupled with freely-available software, can measure every twist, jump, or leap you make, whether you’re a professional or amateur athlete or budding scientist.
At the moment we have a single variety open source sports widget, that we call the DKRZero and is based on easily-available, open-source hardware and our own software build.
We’re using it both as a platform for scientific research and outreach. What about you? Feel free to get in touch to let us know what you’d like to use it for.
